When you are looking to paint a bedroom, there are a lot of decisions to make. You need to look at the right colors to make the room look nice. You need to get all of the supplies. And you need to do some preparation to make sure that the room is going to stay protected as you get some of that work done as well. Another thing to consider when it is time to do some of the painting is whether you would like to use a brush or a roller for the painting.

Using the right painting technique is going to be one of the biggest keys that you must consider to get the best results in any room. There are many techniques that you can use including a roller and a brush based on which one you like the most. They have benefits, but will need different methods to get the work done.

To use a brush: 

1. Hold the brush right near the base of the handle.

2. You can then dip half of the bristles of that paint brush into the paint and tap it on the lip of the can. You should not wipe it on the side.

3. Paint with this using enough pressure to bend the bristles just a little bit. You do not want to push on the brush too much.

4. A one to two inch brush is going to offer the best control and can help you to cut around the windows and more along the way.

To use a roller 

1. Take the roller and roll it slowly into the paint tray. Roll it back and forth to help evenly coat the roller with some paint.

2. Roll onto the ridges of the tray to help remove some of the extra paint too. You can then cover an area that is about two feet square using an N pattern. Cross roll to spread the paint and then do some light roller strokes on one direction to get it to look nice.

3. If the wall is porous, use more paint on the roller to make sure that it gets covered.

Using the right technique to help you get the bedroom painted can make the process go smoothly and will prevent a lot of issues when you want the paint job done. The right bedroom colours will make a difference as well. When you are able to choose the right technique and the right colours to choose in that room, you can create the right appearance that you need in no time.
