The home was originally built in the 1970s, and that era was celebrated by the designers who just finished updating it. Vintage Tibetan carpets, tiled baths, and furniture from nearby farms are just a few examples of the stylish additions made to the original structures.

The campground has tent and RV sites, cabins, and yurts, a family section with a pool, playground, lawn games, and cruiser bikes, and a community lodge, café, free games and general shop. Located on the property is a "hammock village," a gorgeous cluster of hammocks, and the Neversink River, which is perfect for tubing and swimming, flows along the east end of the property, providing a soothing background.

The Neversink River is widely recognised as the cradle of American dry fly fishing, and may be fished by visitors in addition to the on-site facilities. Yoga and fly-fishing lessons are also available.

Between the months of April and November, guests may choose from among Neversink's seven "villages," each of which has a unique set of amenities for campers.
