The Annapurna Base Camp Trek from the base in Pokhara is an excellent beginner-friendly multi-
day trek for reasonably fit travelers. We completed the Annapurna base camp trek in 7 days

without a guide but took a short jeep ride at the beginning and end to minimize the time. We had

There are two major trekking seasons in Nepal. The former takes place in late October and
November when it is dry and hot. The second season is early spring from April to May when it can
get wetter but the flowers are in bloom. We did the Annapurna base camp trek in mid-April and it
rained sometimes in the afternoons, but there were fully sunny days as well. Annapurna Base

in tourist centers of Kathmandu or Pokhara. Pokhara is a short walk from the tourist bus station.
Therefore, when you arrive in Pokhara, it is a good idea to go there directly.
