To unlock them in Lost Ark, you will need to be level 50 and get to Vern Castle, on the Northern Vern Continent. Once you are up North in Vern Castle, you will have to chat with many NPCs. At a certain point, you will have a conversation with Professor Ronatas. After your interaction with him, the Statue behind him will change, and you will be able to access the Chaos Dungeons from there. This is how you unlock the Chaos Dungeons in Lost Ark.

You can access Chaos Dungeons by finding the yellow pedestal in most major cities. These dungeons will help you get upgrade materials and other rare items to boost your character power. It is especially great for leveling up your item level.

Also, Lost Ark limits you to completing two Chaos Dungeons per day through the Aura of Resonance system. Each day, you have 100 Aura, and completing a Chaos Dungeon consumes 50 Aura. You can technically still complete Chaos Dungeons after your Aura is used up. You get barely any rewards for doing so, though, making the exercise pretty pointless.

Regardless of level or location, Chaos Dungeons all follow the same format. Each dungeon has three phases and a specific objective to complete before the timer runs out. Clearing the objective resets the timer for the next phase, so you usually have ample time to complete them.

You can solo play the Chaos Dungeon or be in the party of 2, 3, or 4 players. But keep in mind, the more players you are in the party, the harder it becomes.
